Probe CX appoints Robert Easton as CEO to lead its next phase of transformation

  • Andrew Hume to transition into role of senior advisor to Probe CX’s Board
  • Robert Easton brings deep industry knowledge and extensive leadership experience as Probe CX looks to grow from ‘founder’ phase into its next phase of growth

Probe CX has announced that Robert (Bob) Easton, an accomplished executive and leader who until recently held the position of Chairman and CEO of Accenture’s business in Australia and New Zealand, has been selected to succeed Andrew Hume as Chief Executive Officer of Probe CX.

After close to nine years with Probe CX, Mr Hume has decided to step down from his role and transition his responsibilities to Mr Easton, who will commence in the role immediately. Mr Hume will assume the role of senior advisor to Probe CX’s Board, and continue to support the company’s business strategy.

About Robert (Bob) Easton

Robert (Bob) Easton has over three decades of experience in a distinguished career spanning business consulting, technology, business process outsourcing (BPO), business architecture, leadership, sales, large-scale change, and transformational execution.

Most recently, Bob held the position of Chairman and CEO of Accenture’s business in Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) from 2016 to 2020, and until early 2022, Bob served as Chairman. He was a member of Accenture’s Global Leadership Council and a member of the Growth Markets Operating Committee.

Bob was an active member of the Business Council of Australia from 2016 to 2021, including membership of subcommittees, and a member of the Champions of Change STEM group, a group focused on leading and influencing change in women’s representation in STEM.

As Chairman of Accenture ANZ, Bob chaired the local Governance, Compliance and Risk Board and as Director of several acquired entities. He also served on the boards of several non-profits, including the David L. Cooperrider Center for Appreciative Inquiry, Accenture ANZ Foundation, Positive Education Schools Association (PESA) and Cerebral Palsy Alliance (CPA).

Bob earned a Bachelor of Commerce from Victoria University, a Graduate Diploma in Psychology from Massey University, Master of Defense Studies from Deakin University, MBA from Macquarie University, and a Masters of Applied Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania.
