Across an estate of 9,500+ employees spread spanning three countries, Lena has pioneered a Zero-to-Hero capability framework. Her philosophy is simple but uncompromising: in security, you are either safe or unsafe. To ensure Probe remains safe, Lena has embraced the ‘Give to Gain’ spirit by treating workforce development as a critical technical component of our operational resilience.
Lena’s impact is most visible in her Zero-to-Hero capability framework. Recognising a regional shortage of elite technical talent, Lena didn't just look for experts, she nurtured them.
In 2024, she founded ‘The Cybersirens,’ an all-female team of IT staff with zero prior cyber experience. Through Lena’s intensive mentorship and workshops, she led them to the semi-finals of the global Wicked6 competition, outperforming fifteen veteran international teams. By giving these women the technical blueprint and the confidence to compete, Probe gained a sustainable internal talent pipeline, even transitioning a team member permanently into the global Information Security team.
Lena’s leadership has shifted our culture from reactive compliance to proactive vigilance. The results are undeniable:
Security Maturation: Strategically improved the Vulnerability Management process and upskilled her team in incident detection and response, effectively remediating all previous critical gaps.‘The most advanced security systems are only as effective as the people operating them. By treating workforce development as our primary defence strategy, we transform our people into formidable organisational guardians’, Lena emphasised.
By giving her team the space to fail, learn and eventually lead, Lena has gained for Probe Group an impenetrable culture of security. She proves that when we invest in people, we don’t just protect data; we build a resilient future where everyone rises together.
Don't just watch the future happen, help us build it.
